Bordin was born in 1976 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Architecture from Rangsit University, and later earned his Master’s Degree, also in Architecture from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.
His interest in art and the development of his artistic skills had an early start as his father, Mr.Suchart T.Silpaolan, is also a painter. Already during his high school days he enjoyed helping his father, and perhaps this also encouraged his interest in other aspects of art and design, prompting him to study architecture. Through his studies and in his attention to detail and texture, important aspects of both art and architecture, he became increasingly interested in the materials we use everyday. He recognized that we very often just do not see the beauty in everyday things and he gravitated to painting ‘natural things’.
His beautiful paintings of rocks and stones, some half-submerged and shining with water are amazing in their detail, colour and texture. and serve to remind us of the beauty in the small things around us.
