La Luna Gallery is the only gallery in Thailand featuring works
of potter-artist Rita Hadorn. Her unique and beautiful
pottery is created and burnt in her small Bangkok studio and
only sold at special exhibitions.
Additionally we sell colourful, modern Thai pottery designed
by thai artists
La Luna intends to add pottery from one more artist in the
future.
Rita Hadorn was born in Attinghausen in Switzerland but has
lived in Asia the past 17 years. Her arrival in Asia was also
the start of her creative career, first concentrating on her
passion of painting. While living in Singapore, she started
to take lessons by a pottery artist, curious to learn a different
kind of media, and pottery soon became another passion. ”I
love to work with the four elements, and my fascination grows
the longer I work with them”, she says.
Rita Hadorn gets her inspiration from traveling through
Asia, the sunshine and vibracy of daily life, the beauty
of the nature, the inner peace of individuals, and this is
what she attempts to show in her work.
Working from her private studio in Bangkok, Rita Hadorn
creates unique pottery, which is only sold at special exhibitions
and in La Luna Gallery. She signs her pottery with ”du” for
her maiden name Dubacher.
