Patcharin Meelarp was born in 1965 in Suphanburi. She graduated from Silapakorn University (BA) and finished her M.F.A. in printmaking at Chiang Mai University. Apart from being an artist she is also an instructor at Rajamangala University in Chiang Mai. There cycle of life is ever-changing and there is a special beauty of plants from when the start blooming to when they wither and fall. For me, these scenes are enormously impressive, pleasant, and extraordinary, says Patcharin.
In addition, they help create imaginary structures as if they were pictures of a dream in an ideal garden. This continuously affects my creativity and the development of my works of art. Also, an organization of the contents illustrates feelings of growth, bloom, and fall that change according to the cycle of time.
